Big news on the "GoTroyTrojans.com" board.

All the Trojan fans are very worried they may lose their

very good OC, Tony Franklin, to the Auburn Tigers.

Franklin is the southeastern answer to the spread offense

as Coach Dodge is to the southwest. If Franklin leaves,

this could be a major set back to Troy football.

Amazing about perception. The Auburn fans aren't happy about the hire and the Troy fans aren't either. Both for different reasons.

He's as good as gone. Our only hope is to either promote an assistant from within or find someone that knows how to run Franklin's offense. This can't be good for our recruiting!

I also have confirmed that Auburn will hire Troy offensive coordinator Tony Franklin to fill the same position for the Tigers after Al Borges stepped down.

Dienhart has also learned that Larry Fedora will leave Oklahoma State to become the head coach at Southern Mississippi.
