2:41 is extremely impressive given the weather....or perfect weather for that matter. He could have run the course twice in the time it took me to complete it. I finished but barely. Maybe next year we can organize a GMG relay team!

Man, I'm jealous. I'm having foot issues, and haven't run in about a year. When I get healed I'm planning on another run at a marathon. Don't tell my wife. My goal time is 4 hours. A mere trot to the posted 2:41.

Thanks, everyone! It was a tough day, but no excuses. I missed by personal best by less than 30 seconds. Now I have to get off my butt and break 2:40!

Fellow North Texas track alumnus Shane Wall placed 26th overall in 2:44.
