Are you refering to the games ESPN calls "Bracketbusters" between high level Mid-Majors? I'm sure ESPN just looks at the upcoming schedules for quality matchups between schools that are "under the radar" - but are the type that can make noise come March. If it's an inter-conference matchup between Mid Major powers - all the better.

I saw this years bracket buster schedule posted somewhere on Hilltopper Haven during my travels over there...I looked for the link but couldn't find it...the Sun Belt is not involved again if memory serves...I remember reading an explination as to why, but I've got no specifics and really nothing to back up this post except my sketchy, Jameson-logged memory.

I really don't know anything about the event, but it sounds like if you want to participate you just have to sign up.

This is the official site,

Seems like a pretty cool event. i guess ESPN picks which teams it wants to televise and then puts them into a smaller pool to pair them up. It is pretty cool that the teams have no idea who they will play until 3 weeks before the game. Each team that participates basically agrees to enter into a home and home series with their opponents. Would be cool thing for us to be a part of.
