I think the name of this board should change to "THE GLASS IS HALF EMPTY" Board - WOW!!!!!

Or maybe the "DOOM and GLOOM" Board.

Or the "Woe is Us" Board.

Maybe the "CRYBABY" Board.

Give the program a chance to work!!

The staff has not been in place for an entire year.

Yes there were negatives during the season, but the future couldn't be brighter.

Lot's of great recruits this year and many more coming.

To borrow a phrase I read on a Hog board: You might try reading more, posting less. Most posters on here understand this was going to take some time. Probably 95% of this board is on board with Dodge just as much today as they were the day he was hired. But just because you have concerns and desire to post those concerns doesn't mean you think the glass is half empty.

That's Louisville not UNT, so the comparision can not be made, according to the many wise ones on this board.

There are some of us still though that would like to have the same aspirations, but we are seem to be in the minority around here. It is amazing how Kraigthorppe noticed after one season there needed to be changes, meanwhile around here Dodge doesn't seem to think there should be any changes at all.

DAMN, I am tired of threads like this.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT as DONORS, STUDENTS, ALUMNI and STAFF, the people who FUND this program and have been long time supporters of it, to question, disagree and critique what is going on here. If you ACTUALLY read the board, you'll find rather quickly that most of the people who are not currently content with seeing the status-quo carried into the next season all have a positive attitude, all think Dodge is the right guy and support him, and all love UNT, despite the fact the football program is sort of down now.

I am REALLY getting tired of people coming on this board anew and telling those of us who care enough to get upset and have an opinion that we should shut up. REALLY getting tired of it.

The glass is more than half full from where I sit. I think UNT is as close as it has ever been to starting to ACT and RESPOND BIG TIME. No, we are not there as yet...still too many "small time" things going on...but, we are marching forward. A little patience is in order....the BIG announcements will come, the new stadium will come and the wins will come. I believe it to be so...therefore...IT IS SO! Keep your "eye on the sparrow" and you would be amazed at how positive things look. Always look for the bad, and you would be amazed at how often things are negative. Gee, amazing how it works that way.

Who in hell say's that horse is dead? In my line of work that sucker right there must have a pulse and this guy is only doing his best at CPR. If I had to do CPR on a equine I'd jump up and down on it. If you don't hear ribs cracking you ain't trying hard enough usually.

Guys, I love the chant - but my generation hates the Eagle. They just don't like to scream it because it is not our team name. Why not just make the chant "NORTH TEXAS MEAN GREEN FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"? RV and company have worked tirelessly to correct every website, newspaper, fan, and sports writer... and I really doubt that you will ever hear that chant come from the cheer squad. Plus, it gets rid of that extra syllable and flows much better. Thoughts?
