I thought that he was announcing that Appology (the study of apples; history, varieties and derived products) may be getting added to the curriculum. To appologize would be to speak at length emphatically on behalf of those apples.

I am not sure why all those that he may have insulted in his defense of Coach Mendoza would be interested in this topic, but I am sure he has his reasons.

Thanks. If it's any consolation, if Mendoza comes back and the defense has a good year, I don't think anyone here will be remembered for backing him more vociferously than you did.

Everyone will always have their opinion, and I don't think any of us are bad fans for caring enough to hold an opinion about NT sports. I know I wasn't offended, even though we obviously hold very different views, and I hope you won't be discouraged from posting your thoughts in the future.

Just to echo what rcade said, here's an excerpt from something I posted in another thread yesterday:

No need to appologize. This is what this board is for. Express yourself the way you want to, if it is opinion then state it. Whether someone agrees or not, is no reason to appologize.

I believe he's apologizing for insulting our players, not posters. For that I thank him wholeheartedly.
