Patrick Cobbs

What happened to Patrick? He is not listed at all in the first-half stats.

Jesse Chatman has carried 10 times for 24 yards. 2.4 yards a carry against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.

Chatman is the starter. If he is healthy enough to play, he will play. It is a shame for Cobbs. He doesn't get his break...

What a waste huh......here's a guy who gets into the NFL and leads several stats in preseason (although that team didnt necessarily need him), At least he showed well on a good team. Only then to get traded (one day in Pitt) and then again to Miamai where he continues to be hidden away in the "talent closet". There seems to be a steady stream of players paraded in front of Cobb only to fail or get hurt and his team is face down in the mud. Enuff already !! give him a legitimate chance to sink or swim like the other backs are given.................worst case...........team loses again. What I'm fearful of is after drafting is over again, will he survive more of this crap ?? He needs a chance to really play.............if he cant, he moves on. He'll land on his feet !! We in the Mean Green Nation are tired of this disrespect !!! (dadgum dang-it )

I'm guessing he was inactive today. They've even given a few carries to Gado. (2 carries, 2 yds. at this time).

Chatman has 11 carries for 26 yds.

Oh, and the Jets are drilling Miami 39-13.

For the way they've treated PC...I hope the Fins go winless.

Absolutely. They've been so jealously holding onto that undefeated season from the 70s and celebrating every year when the last unbeaten falls, this is karmic justice. Here's hoping they bookend that undefeated season with an 0-16 record this year.

As much as I hat e the pats, wouldn't Karmic Justice be served well by the Pats goign undefeated and the Fins going ......Unvictorious?

( i don't think that is a word but it was all i could think of that went with the 'un' theme)

Yes, but I just can't wish an undefeated season for the Patriots. I don't dislike the Dolphins that much.

After seeing it reported on ESPN's First Take on Wednesday I posted that Cobbs would start. After today I don't know who to direct my anger at. ESPN for lying to us or the Fins for treating Cobb's so shabby

Oh what the hell, I'll just blame Ron Mendoza It must be his fault! Everything wrong in the Mean Green Nation is Mendoza's fault. At least that's what I infer from reading GMG.com

Being a Fin fan for 20+ years, I was so happy to see Patrick sign with the Fins after his stints at Pittsburgh and New England.

I was even happier to see his performance in the pre-season for the Fins with two game winning touchdowns.

It just irritates me to no end that the Fins continue to keep Patrick on the bench, but others (including "Pot-head" Williams) get opportunities to prove themselves while Patrick looks on.

However, at this point in the season, I feel the same way, and a hoping the Fins go winless.

If Miami doesn't think Patrick will see the field next year, I think his agent should find him a team that actually WANTS him.

I blame Dickey, Helwig, Bobby Ray, SMU, and anyone under the age of 40 that claims to support the Mean Green.

It's funny. At the beginning of the season, Everything was Danny Meager's fault. Then it became the special team's fault that we lost. Now it's Ron Mendoza's fault. Just a question, could it possibly be that NT did not have a very good team this year?

All of the finger pointing from fans is not going to make it any better. Grab that crow bar and fork over some money to the Athletic Department. I give what I can, which is not a lot, but how many don't give anything? I know a bunch on this board are among that group.
