This probably means nothing...nada...zilch...zero.

But, I'll report it anyway.

I was over on the Radisson property today. Anyway, for some reason....the big pond, the one where the bonfire is held......has been drained. All the water has been pumped out.

That pond (the big one) would have to be drained.....if we ever build a stadium.

Maybe they were dredging it for those missing 100,000 + DFW North Texas Alumni... Bulldozers and a blue print of the new Stadium will convince me something is happening. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

They are going to sell the recovered golf balls and put the money in the stadium fund.

If anyone golfs.....there are literally hundreds of golf balls in that dried up pond.

Hundreds. (as of noon today anyway).

Can we pay for the stadium in golfballs?

That's A LOT of BALLs my friend... A LOT of BALLs.... If we came up short , could you donate your balls to the stadium fund ?

The pond is drained every so often. In fact the university can do nothing to it. When the new stadium is finally built the pond will have to stay there.

Why does the pond have to stay there?

I do know with the new stadium, the bonfire sight is moving.

I swam in that thing once after bonfire. Then I took a shower. It was really nasty. (And freaking cold!)
