This is a little conflicting, as he is recruiting a couple of players up there. According to many sources, Leach has not been contacted - but who know.

I would go crazy if they hired Leach.

I don't think Leach is going anywhere, and if he did it would be a HUGE loss for TTU.

I thought Applewhite would be a likely cantidate for the SMU job, but Houston is a natural fit.

Is head coach at Houston really a promotion from Offensive Coordinator at Alabama, or, if Saban leaves and brings Major with him, LSU? Briles moved up(????) to Baylor. If Major bides his time for 2-3 years under Saban he can come into a better situation than Houston.

If he can last 2-3 years being around Saban. I look to Major to make a move but not to a HC job this year.
