I was scanning the FIU home board, FIUsports.com, and picked up some

notes on Sat's game.

FIU runs a multiple pro set, TE's ,FB, 2-WR's. FIU has scored 20+ points last 3 games-

Ark St, L 24-27, LaLaLa, L 28-38, FAU, L 23-55. Lost to Arkansas 58-10. Sounds familiar.

FIU is a very young team just like NT. HFC Mario Cristobal has many true fresh, red-

shirt fresh, and soph's rotating in and out on both offfense and defense.

Sat is senior day, with only 9 seniors playing their final FIU game.

FIU has used 4 QB's this season. Best QB, is R-Fresh Wayne Younger. Against FAU last

week, Younger suffered a broken collar bone in the 2nd qtr. So QB Paul McCall (6.0, 198lbs)

came off the bench, hit 23/35, 181yds, 2-TD's, 1-int. Will start vs NT. Back up Fr QB Colt

Anderson(6-4, 295lbs) will play also. At FAU, Anderson only had s few snaps, 1/3 for 10yds.

RB, jr A'mod Ned, has 220yds in last 2 games. Big FB, John Wills, jr, 5-10, 233lbs.

The 4 deep WR's are all Freshmen. Their KR/DB Lionell Singleton is a stud, multiple KR over 30

yards, 1 KO for a TD at 80yds. Some how FIU has hit big gainers in all their games so far.

FIU has had over 40 plays this season that gained over 30+yards, 60 plays over 20yds.

I think the NT run game breaks out again- look for big gainers for JT and MM. GV will have

a very good game along with our WR's. FIU has some big young OL guys- Our DL should be

able to handle the LOS. This is a team NT can controll, just do not let FIU gain any confidence

with their big play ability.
