A gentleman I sit near at the games told me during the ULM game I believe that back in the 70's a team down near the valley or out west towards El Paso used the Flyin Worm on their helmets and their colors were different though. He told me the name of the school and the color but for the life of me I can't remember? Anyone know of this?

I've decided I like the white helmets we're using. I think the SOW on a white helmet would look good. The problem with the Prosper helmet is the SOW is pointing toward his back? I'd think you'd want the talons facing the front of the helmet on both sides?

This is the problem with eagle as a mascot. Everybody is an eagle (note the lower case "e"). There's only one Mean Green.

It's only pointed towards the back on one side of the helmet. Otherwise the "P" would be backwards. I agree, it doesn't really work unless the eagle is flying towards the front of the helmet.
