Free Tickets To The Orange Bowl

I just read on the FIU board (Tuesday 12:45pm) that admission to the last football game to be played at the Orange Bowl was free ! They think the free admission with the huge crowd that will bring will pave the way for a victory over North Texas. I guess they know what their football program is worth.

All I can say is, the Orange Bowl better have a lot of security down there. That's in a bad part of Miami, from what I understand. You add that to the fact, that folks can get in free.....and the fact that it's the last game there:

I can easily see a riot happening, with people taking seats, whatever they can out of there, for souvenirs. It's happened before at places where they were playing the last game.

You understand right. I would not want to be down there any time of day, but much less after dark.
