Was it just me, or was anyone else VERY disappointed in our athletic dept. and administration fior the lack of any tailgate effort on Saturday? How can we even think we are BIG TIME when a little rain and a bit of cold completely shuts down the tailgate area???? Wow, hard to imagine. I heard from one tailgater that said he was called by "un-named Mean Green Club person" at 8:30am Saturday moring asking if he wanted his tent set up???? What? The question should not have even been asked...and, please, do not say, "well, gee' we didn't want to ruin the practice field in the muddy conditions"...give me a break!

You may get tired of hearing me say this...BUT, if you want to be BIG TIME, you had better start acting BIG TIME long before you get there. You ASSUME that everyone will be there to tailgate and you ACT accordingly...you do not "beg off" because of a little rain and cold weather! My wife and I were there...I sat out in the stadium the whole game...had a great time with the MEAN GREEN FAITHFUL...if the weather was good enough to play the game, the weather was good enough to set up for tailgating...DO NOT ASK...JUST DO! You tell me you are big time, but your actions speak much louder than your words. Think about it! <_<
