FAU - 66 Cleveland State - 76 - FAU continues to struggle, falling to 1-4 last night. The Owls started their third different line-up in five games, and have had a hell of a time finding someone to compliment Carlos Monroe (23 points, 13 rebounds last night) and Paul Graham III (18 points). Rex Walters is putting his young team through a gauntlet in this early season as FAU travels to the Midwest this week for games at Missouri - Kansas City and then a game at Fogg Allen against Kansas...giving FAU 6 road games in their first 7 of the season.

Three games tonight -

FIU vs. South Florida - FIU is 2-0, but has beaten nobody of significance. USF beat FAU earlier in the year by 31 so this will be a good test for FIU. FIU has four players averaging double figures, and six others averaging atleast 4 points...led by center Russell Hicks (17.0ppg) and forward Alex Galindo (15.5ppg).

MTSU vs. Belmont - In the past 2 games MTSU has beat a patsy by 43 and lost to a top 10 program by 69. Belmont is an enigma; they have wins at Cincinatti and Alabama...but double-digit losses at Bowling Green and Austin Peay. In an odd scheduling quark this is the first of 2 games against Belmont...the two match up again in 16 days.

ASU vs. Murray State - ASU will look for back-to-back wins against the Ohio Valley against the Racers. Murray State matched up with WKU earlier in the season and lost by 24 so this should be a winnable game for the Indians (is that still right?). All of ASU's scoring has been Adrian Banks (22.5ppg) and Ryan Wedel (14.8ppg)...their third leading scorer, Yima Chia-Kur is averaging a mediocre 6 per contest.
