No Umbrella's

Can someone tell me why we weren't allowed to bring an umbrella into the game? It was miserable out there at the game weather wise. It would have been doable for my family for a while had we been able to bring an umbrella in.

Sitting at home now listening to Georgio hoping for a win. Go Mean Green.

A little common sense wouldn't hurt here .... It was easy to see that even if everyone brought 2 umbrellas to the game , it wouldn't obstruct the views of anyone.

You don't remember umbrella gate from year before last....no one within 20 rolls behind us but it was either take down the umbrella, sit in the rain or leave....We left and my wife still won't go back to a NT game.

That's sad and if she's not much of a football fan I can't say I don't blame her.

I don't think NT is in any position to turn away fans , especially if they are not bothering anyone

Don't know about the Sun Belt, but that is a rule in the SEC and Big 12 - no umbrellas in stadiums.

I understand and agree with the rule. A rule can't be adjusted based on attendance. Watch any game in the rain on television and tell me one that you have seen with umbrellas in the stands.

Nothing sucks worse then being stuck behind some asshat with an umbrella. It's difficult to see over and the owner of the umbrella is bound to bump it in to you at least 154,928 times during the game.

Get good rain gear like the other smart fans get.

Invest in a good raincoat or a case of disposable ponchos. I wear my green raincoat maybe a dozen times a year, but it's well worth it.
