I'm going to brave the weather no matter what... GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!!

Amen. After all, the players, coaches, cheerleaders, dancers, band, officials, etc. don't have the option of staying home. And the seniors deserve a sendoff. I don't think many of us have risked injury for our school. I figure we owe them at least a thanks in person.

And heck, we might just win.

We few, we soggy, cold, miserable few. We will be there.

So far....it's just a slow steady light rain. I live here, and took my dogs on a 35 minute walk in it. Wearing a coat and cap....I didn't get wet, at all.

So, if it stays this way...or even lightens up...we'll be okay.

A suggestion, fellow fans: You might want to bring a plastic garbage bag.....to put down....so that you're NOT sitting on a wet seat at Fouts today.

GO MEAN GREEN!

Rick V should go by and personally shake the hand of every fan who makes it to Fouts Field today. We have a bad team (only one win) playing on a bad date (the Satuday after Thanksgiving when school is not in session) in bad weather (cold and rainy) against a team that few fans know about or care about (Western Kentucky). That adds up to a lot of negatives. Only those truly committed fans will be there. Rick V should shake every hand in the place and say "Thank You" to them for their attendance.

I agree...I mean how much time would it really take him to shake 100-200 hands.

1-11 + Rain + cold + Students being gone for break = 200 fans in the stands

What was I thinking - I forgot the students would be on break - I guess I need to rethink my 15,000 number.....

The rain has stopped here in Denton.....for now anyway.

It's really not too bad out. It's cold, but the wind is very light.

Heading on over to see The March...
