I am betting that Dodge redshirts. Gio has proved to his team that he has the will, leadership, and ability to get the job done and more. He was thrown to the wolves with a very young o-line and got his assed kicked and took so much body abuse against Troy. But it was in that game, that Gio showed to his team his heart and never once lost his composure or pointed fingers. That sold his team.

But what nobody sees behind the closed doors is his work ethic in the weight and film room. No way Gio will ever get out worked.

Riley will need to get stronger, he needs to add about 20 lbs. and then will be good to go. Two state champions (and players of the year) on the same team is a tribute to Coach Dodge.

While reading this thread my mind started to wander. Now I know it would never happen and I'm proposing that NT consider this. BUT, we know they can both run well. Line them up in the backfield together and let them run a new version of the option. They could option either way or drop back and pass. With Dodge's creative mind that could be cool. Again I'm not proposing that, but it'd be cool in a video game!
