Game Tomorrow

Everyone should make it a point to be there tomorrow at 2pm. I know that we can all make it to Fouts for a 3pm kickoff for football so let's prove we can do it for Johnny's boys too. Let's see, what excuses can we eliminate?

1)It's a weekday...nope, Saturday

2)DFW traffic...nope, Saturday

3)I don't like basketball...Do you like NT? Cuz this is a NT team that is winning and has a shot to go somewhere THIS YEAR.

To sweeten the deal I will even set up a tailgate starting at noon. I'll have the grill going so bring out dogs, brats, burgers and we'll cook 'em up. Oh, and let me get rid of one more excuse.

4)I wanna watch Michigan/Ohio State...uhhh, ok, this shouldn't even be a consideration but let me help you out here as well. I'll bring out a TV and tune it to channel 8 so we can watch the game.

I fully acknowledge that some have kids with soccer games, recitals, etc. but if this doesn't describe you then there is no excuse!

It 27k can make it out for a 3pm game, then 10.5k shouldn't be a problem for a 2pm game. Of course there will be some people who have prior obligations, but we proved last weekend that we can almost fill up Fouts. However, we also proved that enough people don't give a crap about the furthering of the athletic program as a whole to make a simple walk across the street and watch the basketball team to fill up the SuperPit(a much better venue than Fouts, by the way). My guess is 3.5k attendance. I'll see the real Mean Green athletic fans there in a few hours.
