I think some people did some research what OOC game we'll most likely have next year? Could a few of you post them if you remember?

I think some people did some research what OOC game we'll most likely have next year? Could a few of you post them if you remember?

Here's what I had found so far:

I disagree.

I think the deal is a 2 for 1. We play in Manhattan twice in exchange for 1 trip to Denton. I like it a lot better than one or two trips to get spanked without the return home game. Hopefully by 2010 and 2012 we can give them a game!

Dude, you're pulling this out of your... imagination.

Navy was a sub for Akron on what should have been a MAC visitor to Fouts. There is no return game in Annapolis.

SMU does not have a schedule agreement with us, and apparently doesn't have availability for one for at least a few years.

I hope they have road games against UCONN, Yale and Boston College...I'll be more than proud to be the only person in the stands in green...what shade you ask...I'm not telling

Annapolis is do-able too...would love a return game with Navy.

RV had mentioned possibly signing a 6 yr deal with Army I believe. That would be pretty cool too.

RV mentioned a deal with Army at the Exes Mixer and he mentioned talking with Air Force too, but I undersstood Army was a "done deal" on a home and away package and that Air Force was still in the "talking stages" but looking like a real possibility....possibility, I said. let's not start any rumors out there! I got the impression that the first Army game would be in 2009...can't remember if it was here or there...but, either way...I'm there!

Things are really looking up for the Mean Green's future schedules...I think RV is really trying to upgrade our schedule without having to play the OU's and LSU's of the world in our openers on the road every year. Let's hope these "money games" are not a necessity in the yeras to come...and that turn into games we can win when we do schedule them...COULD VERY WELL HAPPEN! Bring on that new stadium and we get more of these teams in Denton like we saw last weekend...GO MEAN GREEN...BEAT NAVY! Oh, sorry...we didn't do that...THIS YEAR! Wait until next time! WE WIN THAT ONE! :rolleyes:

KRAM.....RV said that the 2009 game with Army is here.

As to Air Force....they owe us a home game, but are trying to buy us out of the contract for $250,000. The game was to be in 2009, but Air Force has been offered $1 million to play the first game at University of Minnesota's new stadium (due to open that year).
