At this time it is not on-line but there were some very interesting items: article on scoring out of control.

1. Driving past Fouts field I passed Fouts Field. The facility still standing..no wisps of smoke, no tire tracks on the turn that would have been clues to the FB game disguised as a drag race. ...name score...caused some confusison on TV...it that a BB score.

2. Hoop comarison like offensive advantge is like Mark Mangino trying to guard steve nash. 2007 is most offensive yr in College FB hisstory..Defensive coordinators are seeking counseling.....has the pendulum swung so far the NCAA will seek ways to help beleaguered defenses. The were 55 games Sat..average score 38-21. 23 winners scored 40 or more points and 30 scored 30 or more and LOST. Of the 3,293 points Temple, UTAH STATE, Wyoming and MIAMI were blanked by a combine score of 181-0.

3. Nebraska most stunning reversal in college history..after giving up a school record 76 points to Kansas they defeated K State 73-31. The most points Nebraska had given up prior to going over 70 was 38.

Div 1A record...Eastern Micigan in 2002...566 points and finished 3-9. no opponent scored 70 or more and only 2 had 60 or more.

4. In 906 games prior to this season NT had given up 70 points or more only twice..in 1991 at Nevada 72, 1993 at Nebraska 72 and ...in 2007 at OK 79.
