This is a historical year for North Texas ! In only NINE games, this year's version of a "Mean Green" defense has set the ALL TIME RECORD FOR POINTS ALLOWED ! The closest competitor is the 2-9 1995 team that allowed 424 points. since returning to FBS status in 1995, NO OTHER Mean Green team has allowed over 358 points in a full season . If anyone believes this is the quality of our current players, I have ocean view property for sale in Arizona. Many Thanks to MR. MENDOZA and the defensive staff for setting an ALL TIME Mean Green record in only NINE GAMES ! (Dripping with sarcasm) 79-74-66-48-45-45-38-30-21

Mild Sarcasm Alert:

To be fair to the defense ( :P ), a chunk of those points allowed have come on 3 interception returns, 1 punt return, 1 kickoff return and three safeties. That said, has the D really been that bad?

Yeah. I do have to agree (sarcasm aside) that the offense (AND SPECIAL TEAMS) have shot themselves in the foot and given away games this year, BUT NOT YESTERDAY. Yesterday was all about our lack of defense. At best I would call our performance on that side of the ball pitiful when considering our level of talent. At worst I would call it @%#%^$^^$&#&&$^^$&#&&&$R^&#*#**#*@^^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be TOTALLY fair......... It's a distinct probability that this isn't the only season that points have been scored off of turnovers. :whistling1:

Did we live the year 1995 twice?

Did we relive 1995? If so, I want my sophomore year of high school back. I was dating a [rather cute] girl back then and I'd love to get another chance to make some things right.

Correction made , I'm in the same boat i was in my junior year of HS, dating a rather cute girl as well ( 2 actually that year) and I was about 20 pounds lighter too and had NO BILLS !!
