Catching up with Ben Knox

It took a while, but I finally was able to track down Ben Knox, a power forward/center from Arlington Grace Prep who committed to play for the UNT men's basketball team yesterday.

Knox said UNT's coaches were interested in him because he is 6-10 and can run the floor. Several other schools were interested in Knox, but the opportunity to play for a team close to home was too much to pass up.

Knox's coach Chris Hall called his star big man is a sleeper who has a lot of room to grow. Check tomorrow's paper for more on Johnny Jones first recruit for UNT's 2008 class.
