I will agree with you on that last point. Our basketball , soccer , and tennis(?) teams have all done really well. Why o why can't we have a baseball team, sunbelt has a strong baseball confrence... but lets get football to the top first!

I would also like a baseball program. We were close to getting one started a couple years ago when the college summer wooden bat league was going to fund a stadium for us and them, until they backed out of it with not enough $$. The main problem is not having a facility and funding for a program; some estimates at $500K per year after startup costs. Plus, you have to allow for I believe 13 baseball ships then also fund a new women's sport with 13 ships to balance Title 9. It all comes down to $$ again.
