I'm talking about basketball...yes I know this isn't football stuff. As I'm sure you all know our men's team takes on Cameron and they will be raising the banner for the SBC championship and NCAA tournament bid.

I'm in. Wouldn't miss it.

We have asked for years for Johnny and his pledges to give us something to cheer about. The company line was always "when they win we will come." They held up their end of the bargain last season and Saturday is a time to recognize them for what they accomplished...but more importantly it is a chance to prove to them that the same fan base that was so critical and demanding can also be appreciative and non-hypocritical.

When Johnny first came they pledged to quit if they weren't in the NCAA tourney by the 4th year, and it took what, 6 or 7? Guess we should be glad we didn't ask him to follow through with THAT pledge...
