The "finish the season strong" ship has sailed. You aren't going to impress Transfer Portal Players with a win over a bad 3-8 Temple team and win in a bowl over a team they don't want to go to. And I am not sure that at 6-6 we get a bowl invitation. Best case scenario we see only incremental improvement next year with a capped ceiling at 7-5.- 2

If Utah, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Baylor, Houston, TCU, Kansas State and Texas Tech all win this weekend a 2-seed Texas Tech plays 1-seed Baylor in the Big XII Title game. if the Big 12 championship game is between two 9-3 teams and Tulane runs the table impressively that's gotta at least sew some doubt...especially considering Tulane is currently ranked above all save ASU.
