MY hope is the contrary...that they are so emotionally drained after trying to break their 43-game losing streak to ND (hopefully they DO) that they are flat against UNT. We need any edge we can get.

Also, they will be on the road two weeks in a row AND we had a bye week. The stars are aligned for a MEAN Green victory!

Navy just missed the PAT, so it's 21-20 ND over Navy in the 3rd. Navy has only punted 11 times all season long. Looks like the D is going to have to play tough for 4 downs next week.

....and really tackle! You know, the kind of tackling where you put your arms around the runner and drag him down......hard! Not that worthless hit/shoving stuff.

Thank God we'll have some players that won't continue to bite on the stop-and-go. But I guess that doesn't matter, because that's not a route Navy has in their current playbook.

Why didn't Notre Dame go for the win and kick the field goal? Awesome tackle by that Navy defender though.

Yeah, somebody better block Navy's #34 next week. For those who didn't see it, he leapt OVER a Notre Dame blocker to sack the Irish QB on fourth down. WOW.

 Sorry would be the correct word alright.

There are two schools that always deserve a lousy season.....$MU and ND!

Half right. SMU deserves lousy seasons.

Its OK to be jealous of Notre Dame.

Navy stuffs a two-point conversion and wins, 46-44, in overtime. First win over Notre Dame in 43 years. Congratulations, Navy.

What are the chances they come in here next week a little flat?

Maybe he's a future SEAL. Or naval aviation.

He could even be a Marine. Marine officers are trained at the Naval Academy.

Today:

Go Navy!

Next Week:

GO MEAN GREEN!

Congrats GrayEagleOne and all you Navy Vets who post or lurk GoMeanGreen.com.

Add a few more thousand to next week's game (probably wearing Navy blue and mix in some extra green , too). What an energizer for the Mid-Shipmen.

I was 12 last time Navy beat Notre Dame and I believe it was just a few weeks before JFK journied to Dallas.

PS: Fellow UNT'ers and MG football players, check out both teams as Notre Dame plays its school song. Isn't there something about college football that the NFL just cannot produce?

GMG!

This was a great game and it was cool to witness history!

However, a close second on great finishes tonight includes LSU and the Tide. The Dream season continues for the Tigers!

I saw the last of the Alabama/LSU game. 'Bama CHOKED! They had the lead with 4 minutes left and gave up 14 points.

Where is my puke emoticon?
