Seems I recall Eppy getting whupped by one of our own football players at a basketball game.

And it was a young lady in the Eppy costume.

This is news to me. I would never figure that the "non-war like" Eppy would ever disgrace himself (her) this way.

That video sounded like a joke.

I always thought it was a "game." Our mascot "beats up" their mascot in front of our fans and then their mascot "beats up" our mascot in front of their fans. Everyone gets excited and cheers louder. No real violence till the time the Stanford Tree got in a fight with some other mascot for real...pulling the head off. Foul! I think Arkansas State Indian mascot did the same thing.

Unfortunately, I was at NT when "Eppy" was the name of the mascot. Sorry, my sarcasm was lost on everyone again.
