Tailgating Question

We are coming to the Navy game and I noticed on the athletic website that there are 2 public tailgate parking lots on a first come, first serve basis. The game starts at 3 so how early do we need to get there, will we have a chance to get a spot, etc??? Thanks for your help!

Hey, great!

I would say if you should up at 11 you will be in good shape. On normal 6pm kickoffs, you can get a spot until 2-3. So using the same ratio, you should be good.

I plan on getting there at 9 AM (we're cooking breakfast). I agree though, if you get there around 11 you should be fine.

A 3:00pm kickoff kind of sucks, I wish they would push it back to 5:00 or so.

we will be out there by 10:00am I would think.

My advice to you is to park as far away from the Frats as you can. They seem to have a desire to make the parking lot look like a landfill every game. It's sad that they don't have more pride than that.

I would have said that students in general are the ones trashing the parking lot rather than point out a specific group who may or may not be the ones guilty of the charge ... :rolleyes:

People just love to point the finger at frats is all, they tend to stand out. Of course it is just a student thing, not particular to fraternities or any student group.

Not to mention a good number of the group in our tailgating are my fraternity brothers.

The flags usually give it away. The stickers on their truck windows and the sweeping of trash from the bed of their truck onto the concrete is also a good clue.
