He showed me last night that he's still got it. During that 77 yard TD sprint he put a move on the muts free safety that was highlight material delux. I wished we could get a video of that run. I just can't believe he would only run 9 more times for 19 carries? I would like to see us keep feeding the guy the ball. Last night is

is proof what he can still do.

Thoughts?

I agree about ten million percent. One way or another, the man has got to get more touches. Preferably, with room to run.

I really hope we see JT get the ball more often. I agree, the man has to touch the ball. I think Jamario is Super Jamario again and I hope TD can coach some holes open for SJT to run through. I like seeing him as a relief receiver. It at least gives him a little open field to work with.

Yes.

Of course, when we're down by 20 with less than two minutes left and we're still dropping back to pass...it would have been nice to feed Jamario the ball at the end of the game when it was over to try to let him get 100 yards.

But, that would have cut into the potential to add more worthless passing yards onto the stats ledger. It's important to have lots of passing yards at the end of the day, no matter what the score is. <_<

Thanks FFR for the kind words. I'll convey your thoughts to him. It means a great deal that some of you faithful still are loyal and supportive of him. He has had to battle and overcome a lot of adversity over the past few years and regardless of what some posters might say, Super-J is a true warrior and competitor. In addition, TFLF hit the nail right on the head!

FFR- We'll see ya against W.K., my boy is in the playoffs during Navy. Thanks for your kindness.

Jamario's freshman year alone is enough to make him a legend. I will never forget that game against Colorado.

The coaching staff needs to get him the ball in space, some how.

That is kind of you to say as I feel the same way. I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when he broke the first one off! George and Hank's call was tremendous.

On another note, if anyone has a video clip of his 77 yarder please speak up.

Thanks to you all!

Maybe it is just me, but I still think the hamstring injury has cost him a half a step. The run Saturday was awesome, but he still seems to lack the breakaway speed that he used to have that would just leave the DBs in his wake.

Did you not see that the Safety had the angle but Jamario just ran right past him? I'd say that is breakaway. The kid still has it. Such a treat to watch.

I agree the hamstring thing has hampered him in terms of speed. However, I think it is more inital speed than breakaway speed. He showed the other night that once he gets going, he's tough to catch.

J-Mo is a guy who was recruited to run downhill from 7 yards deep and hit the hole running...and he was very good at it. It definitely makes him look different standing back there and getting a handoff without a head of steam. He's not the ideal spread back, but still flashed some ability the other night! That run was impressive.

It's funny because his strides are so short. He's got some 'RPM's' going with those legs when he finally gets to full speed!

I plan on ordering that '04 season on DVD, if I find it's still available. From everything that I heard, it seems to me that his freshman year he had a ridiculous 10 yard "initial" burst. IMO, those traits would make for an ideal spread back? I still have not ever seen a clip of him from his freshman year.

that would be awesome if someone can find it. I'm hoping it's on the season DVD.

Absolutely agree with you.

JMo is the best player on this team and I strongly feel he's not involved enough in this offense. That's another topic I'll stray away from.

he's still one of my all time favorite players to ever wear the Green.

Nothing against Jamario, but I believe there are a few players on the team other than Jamario that deserve the title 'best player on this team.'

Agreed! And I think most of the players on the team will agree.

On his long TD play, once the ball was snapped, I saw a huge hole develop on the defensive front. Then Jamario shot through it and only had to make one guy miss and turn on the burners. He didn't see a hole like that the rest of the game. I don't think he is back to freshman form, but he is getting closer, and that play showed what he can do if he has a little room.

Interesting.....name one!

Not a shot against JMo's abilities, but I've seen a lot more consistency from Mosley this season. He's playing like the steady senior you can count on for 3 - 4 yards every touch, but he's a freshman.
