the flyover will be performed by the Marines at the Ft. Worth Joint Naval Reserve base. The MAG 41 is composed of one squadron of F/A-18C Hornets.

So this will happen?? Great news!

Yes, the flyover is a definite. Nov 10th is Veteran's Day weekend, and also the birthday of the U.S. Marines.

I will root for the Mean Green, but when I was in boot camp we had to sing this song every time we went through the RTC Great Lakes tunnel.

Come Early...it will be a sellout! This should be a really fun game and a great experience overall for college football in Denton. "Be there or be square"!

If this game is a sellout it will be because of the Navy fans, we couldn't even manage 20K for our freeking Homecomeing. :angry:

Considering our record I thought 18K was a great number.

The USNA Alumni site is incredibly well "buttoned up" Everything from average Denton temps for early Nov. what colors fans should wear etc. They run a tight ship. Well done. Looking forward to this game.

Navy is going to fire plenty of torpedos at us during that game!

I'm worried about that. The Midshipmen are pretty stinkin' good!

Navy lost this week to 1-AA Delaware and are now 4-4, could be 4-5 after they play Notre Dame before us.

wow. that surprises me. I have the navy-pitt game from earlier this season DVR'd...I thought they looked darn good.
