Important Work For Wright Waters...

This remains a very important topic to me. It will be for us someday and right now it may be for Troy. It is not going exciting for Troy to play in the New Orleans Bowl with a low represenative from weak Conference USA.

Wright has to keep our relationship with the New Orleans Bowl, but there has to be 2 options explored:

Our Champion (based on some critieria) has the right to go to a bigger bowl and the 2nd place Sun Belt team goes to New Orleans.

We have an opportunity to bring a better oponent into the New Orleans Bowl. With all the Bowl deals, I don't even know if that is viable. (You guys in the know, probably can say if that is even possible).

Troy will be the next team to want to leave the SunBelt. As i posted a few weeks ago, they are a Top 25 program right now. We have to have some incentive when our teams get to that level.

I would expect a blow-out in New Orleans for the Belt. I enjoy that...we all should! However, I worry about the future without another option for the Belt Champions when we are this strong. I suggest that Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee will be on that level very quick. As, may one of the Florida schools, Western Kentucky and us.

I agree.... Didn't that happen last year though. Well at least the extra bowl part.
