Everyone on this board should call the owner of the paint store (Pittsburg Paints?) and think him for painting the stadium. I called him 2-3 weeks ago after someone posted his name and number on the board....he was very appreaciative that I would call him from Houston and thank him...so give it a go ol chap.

Maybe whoever posted his name and number previously can repost it...

Eddie Hardin is the alum who got the paint donated. He can be phoned at 940-383-1090 in Denton. Give him a calll...I am sure he would be glad to hear from you.

Eddie did us a huge favor in donating the paint. Fouts really looks alot better from the outside, and from both sides of Highway 35. Which is where recruits/high school coaches will drive by.

And if Denton, Texas, America, had more citizens like Drex living inside its city limits, we would now be talking about expanding a stadium of 40K seats to one of about 55-60K.

Drex is one of Denton's best of the best NT Exes/MG fans of the 8-10,000 Denton-based fans I suppose who come out to most Mean Green football games in most years.

Just think................for each Game Day if we regularly started getting 10K from Denton/Denton County............10K from our NT DFW (& beyond) alumnus base........... and 10K UNT students............then a 30,000 seat stadium seems rather small for our future (of which forecasters predict even more dramatic growth).

I agree with what you said about drex! If only a few folks in the Athletic Dept. had listened to his thoughts on the future and how to get there...my oh my...where UNT Athletics be today??? One can only dream! Hey, drex, great support all these years! One of the very best of the very best. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do!
