(From Brett Vito);

North Texas has been remarkably lucky when it comes to injuries since the first game of the Todd Dodge era. The Mean Green has played some tough teams and has hardly lost anyone to injury.

That could change this week.

Sophomore cornerback Antoine Bush left the Mean Green's game against Louisiana-Monroe late in the second half on Saturday with a hamstring injury and didn't practice Tuesday. Dodge said after practice that Bush is questionable for this week's game against Troy, which features one of the most dangerous passing attacks in the Sun Belt Conference behind quarterback Omar Haugabook.

If Bush can't play UNT has a number of other players to turn to, including Latif Nurudeen and Evyn Roman. There is little doubt that UNT could use all of its best players in coverage this week, though.

Bush could return in time to play, but he is already missing practice time. That could spell trouble for UNT.

Ouch. We really need Bush. Nurudeen has looked pretty good though, and I've wondered why he hasn't played more...
