I just wanted to say that I was impressed with the character shown by Daniel Meager, Matt Phillips, and Blake Burruss. All three have started during this season or last and did not play last night. Every time the camera would show the sidelines, all three were smiling and having a good time. There was no bitterness, just a healthy team attitude and excitement.

I'm proud that these guys are green despite my criticisms of any of their previous performances.

Burruss had an ankle injury. I am curious to see if he gets his job back once he is healthy.

Add my congratulations to the list...it's hard to sit when you think you should be playing...and believe me, they think they should be playing and I am glad they do. They are competitors....most of us on this board have never suited up for a D-1 game...so we have no way of knowing how much class it takes to be a team player when you are benched for whatever reason...this whole team is showing class and they are sticking together. Way to go...great leadership from TD and a great bunch of guys who believe in their team...it showed in more ways than one Saturday night. Great win...they earned it! Stick around...more win to come.

Gilmore was in for Burruss. Go back and check the TIVO. The announcers stated several times that Burruss better get healthy soon or he was gonna lose his job.
