Four things:

1) No, I didn't ID anyone directly. However, there are a lot bigger and built dudes (not to mention just MORE of them) at the games this year.

2) A guy was wearing a jersey with the name Grave Digger on the back.

3) RV walking Mean Joe Greene out there up the isle where the recruits were.... genius.. plain and simple. They flocked to him like he was Moses leading them to the holy land. Pictures were snapping. Standing ovation occurred. All the dad's were telling their sons how great MJG was in his day. It was a great site.

4) While the ULM coaches were running down the isle at halftime, one of them stopped and dapped one of our recruits. Gave him the ole chest bump-half hug. Pointed to their side, laughed a bit, talked for a couple minutes... then was on his way. The whole time my wife (the dutiful fan) was yelling that he can't talk to him and it violates some NCAA rule somehow. In all my years behind the recruits, I have NEVER seen this happen. Obviously ULM is very familiar with this dude and want him.

Next time he comes around the PA guy should acknowledge him over the PA. That would be cool I think.

Rick V was on the phone seemingly FOREVER trying to get Joe Greene acknowledged by the PA. I’m sure it felt like forever to Rick! He finally gave up and started up the stands just before the announcement was finally made.

The TV showed Joe on the sidelines and in the crowd. Really gave him a lot of time.

I saw the BIG dude with Grave Digger on his jersey. I made a mental note. He had the number 77 in white on a bluish-gray jersey, possibly some black accents. Looked like the second coming of Bob Lilly.
