I was watching the boys practice today and I still don't get why they aren't tackling in practice. I know you don't want to injure any players but I mean the last thing our D needs now is not practicing tackles.

I mean maybe when we just tap a guy or smack his @ss that means the play is over just like in a regular game.

Try not to think too much about the defense and it won't bother you as much (at least that is what I am trying). I finally accepted that Meager was going to be the starter - and then Vizza got the word he would start and it was a pleasant surprise.

It really is becoming noticeable how injury free we've been so far this year (knock on wood). Offensively, the spread offense can provide somewhat of an explanation, but we've been pretty healthy defensively and on special teams as well. Maybe the opposition is scoring so quickly that we don't have much opportunity for injury? Sorry, I just couldn't resist taking my weekly shot at the defense.

How was Vizza doing? Is Meager now running second QB or have those spots been reshuffled also?

Can Meager be put at LB now? So he can chase our new QB around.

Most teams don't tackle every day of practice. Some may only do it 1 or two days some do it every day, and then some rarely ever tackle in practice. Now where Todge stands on this I'm not sure.
