Did anyone else notice Fritzgeral was double teamed alot during

the game? The LaLa defense was primed to stop Fitz from making

a big play, or deep ball. From now on, I would expect to see alot

of attention to Fitzgerald, which will open up new routes-

Special K Korey Washington was wide open deep on one play

where Vizza's pass was just alittle too far out. Stickler was open

on another deep pass that was just alittle too far out also.

Make these plays and LaLa folds up!

Washington and Sticlkler will have great years.

B Jax made 2 great catches, laid out for the ball-wow!

Anyway, I can see the passing game open up more with Fitzgerald

demanding more attention. I can see Special K and Stick coming on

strong with the future games. BJ Lewis and Sam Dibrell will be in

there also. Looks like not only is Fitzgeral a major weapon, but he is also

a very good decoy to open up other passing lanes! Any team that leaves

Fitzgerald alone- will pay the price. If the team double teams Fitz-

they will pay the price if they leave Special K and Stick with one on

one coverage.

IYO do you think the sloppy field may have thrown off their speed somewhat or else the passes would have been spot on? Just curious? Sounds like Vizza was not missing by much on his deep ball touch.

If you seriously watched that game, and the progression of Vizza throughout the night, I don't see how anyone could honestly say that he looked the same or worse than Meager, or for that matter any QB we have had in the last 3 years. I also don't know how you could argue that he didn't look 10 times better in the second half than he did in the first half.

I can tell that you were not at the game. The number of receivers that were wide open and the pass was not even in the same zip code was unreal. That was the worst D that we have played and will play (maybe FIU will be close). If it was not for some great plays from the receivers this could have been really bad. Dodge will play up how great Vizza played and make him the O player of the game but if this is what is in store for the rest of the season R Dodge will be the next QB to see the field.
