way too early to be going for 2

couldn't disagree more, if you make it you are tied and if you don't then you are still a field goal from leading, just like you would be if you kicked the extra point.

Good call by Dodge going for two.

I guess but it seems so dangerous for us right now. I guess I'm just too conservative for us at the moment.

No dissrespect, but you are so wrong. Don't chase the points until you have to bottom line.

What a play by Fitz. Vizza looking more comfortable.

He is looking much more comfortable.... I suggested at the beginning of the game, they needed to give him some runs so he could get hit to settle him down.... that's exactly what happened.... I just wish they did it sooner...

I guess i don't see it as chasing points. We are in the same poition wether we make the kick or don't get the two. The only way that we improve our situation is to go for two and make it. I really don't see the risk, besides it is not like the kicking game is working at the moment.

well I couldn't disagree with you more. Coaches go for 2 points way too early in games it drives me crazy. You have no idea what is going to happen the rest of the game, and at that point you had 2 1/2 quarters left in the game.

Well here is the risk - IF Lloyd Carr kicks the extra point at the end of the third quarter against App State, then in the fourth quarter, all he would have had to do is kick the extra point, and they would have been in OT. Instead, he plays catch up the rest of the game, and they lose.

That is a good point, but the way that we have been playing i think that we need a spark.. Dodge doesn't exactly play a conservative game plan. I appreciate the confidence he shows his team and I like the guts he shows by going for it. I would rather tie the game then look at the two point deficit.
