Another kid that we were interested in, Courtney Jackson, a 6' 6" forward from Paris, Texas H.S., has verbally committed to UALR.

Rivals does say that Joseph Fulce is considering four schools: NT, SMU, Texas A & M and New Orleans. (I thought New Orleans was the team he signed with originally, before going to Tyler JC. Must have been grades that kept him out of UNO).

Anyway, hopefully we'll get a few early commitments soon.....as we do have some big shoes to fill in '08-'09 (Quincy, Wooden to name a few).

It's my understanding that grades have always been a problem with Fulce. He may have been placed at TJC since former UNO assistant coach and former Panola Head Coach Scott Monarch is an assistant @ TJC.

Fulce didn't make his grades to enter A&M and Billy Gillespie overrecruited, like he always does, so even if Fulce had qualified Gillespie did not honor his scholarship. New coach Mark Turgeon had to tell Fulce and three others that they had no scholarship.

Fulce went to Massanutten Military Academy and still didn't qualify. Joseph then went to UNO with A&M assistant Buzz Williams while technically still not cleared. As we all know, Buzz screwed the entire signing class by leaving so late to go to Marquette. Since Fulce was still not qualified, he had no choice but to go to JC; which is why he is at Tyler JC.

You did a damn good job explaining possibly one of the most confusing recruiting stories I have ever read.
