Yes they did. They showed Vizza take it in, and clear as day he gets up and his name is on his jersey as the Ch. 8 guy said it was Meager.

When showing highlights on the news, it's not important to include trivial things like the correct name of the player scoring the touchdown on the highlight, or even the correct mascots or team records.

Also, the NT Daily is my favorite sports section.

In the interest of fairness, whoever edited the highlights should get the blame for the screwup. They are the ones who write out a "shot sheet" that tells the anchor who is doing what on each of the shots, which is how the talent relays that info on the air. Unless the talent was specifically looking at the video and recognized the mistake (doubtful, since they were probably looking at the shot sheet, and/or preparing for their next story), they probably didn't even know a mistake had been made.

It's doesn't excuse the stupidity of the mistake, just shifts the blame on who probably made it.

oh well the morons on the UA broadcast beleve that Moreland was our punter all night and David Meager was our QB.
