I am current UNT doctoral student, and of course, have no health insurance whatsoever. I am in need of some dental work, and I hope that I can get several names of reputable dentists in Denton, Tx. Feel free to provide several b/c I am only going to enlist the services of one that is a provider for a cash-based discount programs (GE, Unicare, Patriot, etc.). Thanks!

My dentist back in the day was Dr. Gary Taylor. His office was on Fullton if I recall. He was a good dentist, but it's been so long since I went to him. I'm sure he's still there though.

I can tell you I hate going to the dentist. I was referred to a guy in Sherman and was told it was WORTH the drive. That was the best recomendation I have ever had and I too don't have dental insurance. His name is Bill Gray. Send me a PM an I will send you his phone number - he is very good. Ironically, he doesn't take much insurance which enables him the ability to spend more time with you as a patient.

My dentist for more than the last 25 years has been John Withers. He was a DB for the Mean Green during the Fry era.

His office is at the corner of Teasley and Lillian Miller.

A Mean Green Dentist... Nice!....I'll definitely check him out too... and his business is near my home. Thanks!!

Dr. Gene Payne in Addisson (belt line rd.). He's an NT alum and has a good time joking about his name. I used to go every 5-7 years, but I look forward to going now.
