Talk about a 180 degree turn around. Usually the hogs are

big time smack talkers about opponents. The hogs are posting

some good comments on several subjects, from Coach Dodge

becoming their next coach, to wanting North Texas to win big

on Saturday-check this out.

I dunno; I didn't think this was all that civil:

"Houston Nutt is the worst thing to happen to Ark athletics ever, in my opinion. He is a hollow, white shoe promoter who is no more a good football coach than a monkey. He has done just enough, at the right times, to save his sorry butt. I will not rest, nor will I relent, until the day the sorry excuse for a Razorback coach hits the state line on his way somewhere else."

Looks like they're so desperate, they would have been willing to trade their Nutt for a Dickey.

You really should read more of it if you get a chance, because I can't tell you how many times Nutt has lied to the fans of Arkansas. It is pretty sad what is going on, but much of it Nutt has brought on himself. He basically hired Arkansas's version of Todd Dodge to go be OC, promised him AND his player that he would have full control of the offense, most of the big recruits went there from the state, and now it has come out that he basically did the hire just to get the recruits (all but 2 are left). It just gets tiring after 10 years of promise after promise.

I’d call them basically civil. We said similar things about DD last year and we‘re mostly civil.

Perhaps you missed this two-page thread http://www.hogville.net/yabbse/index.php?topic=159621.0 in which many on that forum classify talk of hiring Dodge and several other "candidates" as having "LOW expectations and settling"??

You have to keep in mind there are 20k registered members on there too, so you get a wide range of opinions. I am not sure there is one person on Hogville that likes Nutt, or has liked him in a couple of years. The other two good boards are:

Oh I am sure there are some that still enjoy him as a coach, but they are few and far between. Hogville has been the anti-Nutt board for several years. The other two have been in support of him up until this past year.

I've heard the Arkies called many things but never civil. If the Mean Green were more of a threat to whupping their asses you'd see a whole new side to the Hog Callers.

Texas fans have had everything thrown at them up there but the bathroom sink and that's only because the those Ozark Ikes haven't discovered indoor plunbing yet.
