Sorry, but the greatest player ever to come out of Texas was Sammy Baugh. Baugh was incredibly versatile and was not only the game's first modern passer but also a star defensive back and ace punter as well. He was likely the best football player of all time (yes, better than Jim Brown).

He’s one of the few to score a touchdown, then kick the extra point.

I guess it was "background" information, since our game with them was the next day.

"When I started playing, I was very timid," Greene said. "I used to get beat up quite a bit, on and off the field.

You know, if I had been one of the coaches back then, and Joe Greene had mentioned this to me, I would have said

"where are those guys now, and are they eligible to play college football?"...... :rolleyes:
