Last saturday was such a great time and for most of the game it was a fantastic atmosphere and all. But thinking back on it I realize the most important aspect of the day and the greatest thing I think most get out of college game day in general is seeing the return of so many of our Mean Green Nation family members, some who traveled a good ways to be there and getting to say hello again to everyone we know and love. It was also special and a first for one of my members as the daughter made her debut at Fouts. Everyone had a great time. I just wanted to say it was great to see all of you again and look forward to it again.

A special hello again goes out to:

GreyEagleOne,

DeepGreen,

PlummMeanGreen,

IslandEagle,

JMoFan,

GreenGrenadeII,

One spcial note. Families enjoy the times we get to spend together and remember them always. And we share the heartbreaks as well and we were without one of our greatest fans in the stands saturday in GreenBat. GB had to go home to San Antonio this weekend to be with his father who is fighting terminal cancer for the second and probably the final time. The sound in his voice when he told me on the phone friday stayed with me all weekend and I just wanted to let him know our prayers are with the Tulloss family during this difficult time.

I keep thinking of more and more folks I got to say hello to last saturday.

Scotty. I'd like to see more of Scotty's breakdowns of the basketball team this year here. He's one of the most insightful BB writers we had here at GMG.com.

Byron Gross. Byron moved back to Dallas from Nashville and was at the SMU game as well.

SUMG. SUMG has permanantly relocated back to the Denton area. Saturday game days were not the same without him.

MeanRob.The father of Fouts Tailgating.

Coach Dodge has excited the MGNation in so many ways. It just feels great to see everyone at Fouts again.

awww, rick, now you've gone and made me really home sick. It's just not the same not being at Fouts this season. Thanks, too, for the update on greenbat....keeping you and your family in our thoughts! Been there this past summer with one of our family members so I have an idea of what you're going through.

I guess this thread might be a good place to announce I will be in town for the Navy, Cameron, and Oklahoma State games in November. Even though I've been in town for this and that acouple of times - I haven't seen us play in person since Homecoming 2002 and Tilli's last season in our 2 major sports.

So I'm pretty excited. :) It'll be nice to see alot of you again.

Thanks for the prayers guys. My family and I appreciate them. On another note, One of my favorite cousins dropped dead of a heart-attack at the age of 46 on Tuesday afternoon. He had high blood pressure, so make sure you keep your blood pressure under control. Still in San Antonio and Dad is still hanging in. Again My family and I appreciate all the prayers. Just pray he goes in peace.

Thanks for caring,

Brett (GreenBat) Tulloss
