If I were that quarterback, I'd be cringing at my coach calling me a child who runs home crying to my mother.

I also cringed. He said (approximately):

"I don't read papers. I don't buy these things. The players MOTHER gave this to me.."

"You wouldn't do this if you had a child. Who comes home crying after being called fat. Dropping a pass."

Sounds like the coach backed up the article. Mama's boy with no grit.
