The new stadium design was posted Saturday night in one of the Suites at Fouts Field. Very nice looking. Everyone will like it! It's significantly different than those drawings on the website.

Really? How long before these photos are leaked to the public? Dang, now I'm curious.

Well...they are called 'Suites'. There is one for the Athletic Director and one for the President. Next time you're there, look up at the press box. You'll see the boxes on the left and right of the press box. They are surprisingly nice on the inside. Have good food, TV's, free drinks, etc. They are for the VIP people and boosters to sit in and enjoy the game.

How is it different? Single level instead of decks?

It looks like SMU's Ford Stadium on the inside to an extent. Similar layout. The stands are steeper though, and the concourse is wider. There is not a huge pressbox like SMU's though. It does have suites. There is a 2nd deck on the home side.

In the drawing, are those actually green glass blocks? Or it that some kind of graphical treatment to show future expansion or a sort of cut-a-way to view interior angles or what?

Green glass blocks to cover the dead space under the stands instead of just seeing steel beams, supports, etc.
