I'm not gonna lie, I am pretty disappointed tonight. I was feeling pretty good all the way up until the end of the 3rd quarter. I don't expect us to win every game or even blowout the other team, but i do expect us to hang on to our lead when we have it. I think it's gonna be real hard to convince people to come to another game if we keep this kinda play up. I definitely don't see our attendance next home game being above what it was tonight. Hopefully I will be proved wrong. This would have been a great win tonight.

Could have, but (I wouldn't normally blame the game on one person) but I think Meager gave the game away. The team looked really strong at first, and throughout the night, the defense looked at least okay, especially considering their situation. The team is better every time I see them, but it's still got work to do before it can get the SBC crown, and I assure you that it can.

It was very similar to our SMUt game. We had an early lead then they seem to make a couple adjustments, 3 ints, some poor DB coverage, a few penalties and we lose. Dodge said afterward we haven't learned to hold on and finish yet; I believe that is the biggest problem with a young team and switching systems. The crowd was good (20,500) and the stadium looked the best since it opened 55 years ago. I'm ready to see Vizza play again, get the kid some reps.

I totally agree. Those interceptions from DM are sooooo deflating for our team. They happen at THE WORST possible time. My heart sank when he threw that last interception (well, maybe it was the one before the last... but you get my point).

No, I am not a coach and am not questioning...but I really think TD should have put Vizza into the game at the end. We will not win with DM...he does not have what it takes.

What is the deal with the blocked punts? Was the protection that bad? Or does the punter need to line up further back? The pressure was pretty intense on all the punts. Seems like by the 4th quarter, somebody upstairs would have made an adjustment.

I felt really bad for the D. They finally played a decent game and had to keep covering for the offense and special teams.

The punter looked slow. The rush kep growing on all our punts but the punter just hung back and kept taking his usual approach to gettign the ball off. I was down in H and on the block that pretty much sealed our deal you could see FAU with ears, arms everything pinned back ready to make the rush. The punter just comfortably took the ball and his steps to get it off. I saw that block coming before it happened.

WOW next up a guest appearance on MEDIUM!

Why is it hard to get people to come back? If you've been to a UNT game in the past then its pretty easy to see that we have better product than we used.

Better tailgating, more exciting game play, and better restrooms.
