No matter what the final attendance number is the atmosphere was great. The alum side seemed very full and the student side was loud. The Fans just need to keep coming and Dodge is going to make this team great soon enough.

Unfortunately, we lost a lot of the "I heard this new Dodge guy is going to make the team more exciting and better, so let's go check it out" crowd. We'll be right back to our 15k die hards next home game. It's a shame too.

I agree. This was our chance to prove ourselves and we just couldn't hold on.

Well, he is making the team better and more exciting. Honestly though, 15k diehards ain't bad...and if the next wins are publicized, then we can expect something huge for Navy.

I didn't make it until 5:58 left in the 1st quarter. There were about 1,500 students still outside tailgating. I'd make it mandatory to bring all asses in the game or take the party somewhere else.

We had a great crowd tonight and very good tailgating before the game, but I am afraid you are right. With the loss this coming week, they will come back 0 - 4.

It was FAR from exciting tonight. In fact, that offense did so little in the second half, it was Dickie-essk.

The next wins? Will they overshadow the next losses? Sorry, this one hurt pretty badly for some reason. And this message board is my therapy.

You're right, this game hurt bad. And I know exactly what it was... it was being up 17-3 and blowing yet another lead. There a glimpses of goodness, we still can't put it all together to have a complete game yet.
