For those attending the game Saturday, keep a sharp eye on the number of HS recruits that will be in attendance. These will be Dodge's first recruits to be on campus at a game. A good description may help Old Timer and others identify the players.

Make sure everyone is aware of the rules related to the communication between Alumni and potential recruits...

As in, don't talk to them as we are ALL considered to be boosters of the university.

I hope they no longer sit them in the BOOSTER section ... ;)

That really annoyed me. Having the Eagle Angels police the interaction (or having them treat you like you were the big bad booster who wants to taint the program) was not a good idea either.

However, it appears that the MGC has filled up Section E and they no longer have a sanctioned area.

Most schools want them close to the area that the interaction between the staff and players is taking place. Most of these recruits want to see and feel this interaction as it could be them for the next 4 or 5 years.

There's plenty of room to set up some portable bleachers right behind the team and in front of section E. They can see and feel the interaction of the staff and as an added bonus actually see the game.

As others have noted, placing them in lower section E is not close to the action.

The elevation up to Row 1 doesn't seem to be anymore than 6 feet, if that. If you put the players on bleachers in front, they wouldn't be able to see over our standing players It's also likely that the top row of the bleachers would hamper viewing from the first row or two of the stands.

I'd say just decide the best view from the block of non-season ticket seats and reserve those for recruits. There might be enough in Section D and/or F to accomodate our visitors..

Are recruits allowed to be on the field (i.e. not in Stands) during a game?

I see recruits on the field at almost every college game I have been to.. hopefully it is allowed :)
