While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.

You shut down the Tornado thread why ???? Nothing insulting,rude,or inflammatory was posted

But ,

You let people continually insult and be rude about players,coaches and even other posters & let it go on..

Ill change my tone on the smu dead student remark , I don't mean to compare the 2 , but it went on for 3 more pages , which I thought was way too long.

This board is becoming the NFL , No Fun League

I think all of us should brace ourselves for some wonderful growth in Mean Green nation thanks to what Dodge has/will bring to the table. With it comes gmg.com membership with people we probably aren't going to agree with. The reality is that this board has been ridiculously tame compared to the wolves that are out there a lot of the other boards I read. It's just something that comes with the territory of growth/popularity.

Having said that, it becomes all the more important to read the rules/not question the moderators, etc. To be fair, I think the SMU topic was addressed properly, and it ended pretty quickly. Can you imagine how many PM's Quoner got from SMUers, admins, etc? I can't...crazy.

You let people tell jokes about a dead SMU student and let it continue!!!

WAH - they deleted the SMU one once they realized what it said.

If you don't like it, start your own. Worked for us.

Why is Donovan McNabb a "star"? His stats are mediocre at best, but last night the ESPN just couldn't stop going on and on and on and on and on..... about WHAT?!

McNabb's lifetime QB rating is 84.8. He averages about 1.6 TDs a game. He only played a full season three times since entering the league.

Funny you mention that... during the intro of last night's game they had McNabb doing a voiceover about how he was going to show all his critics what he can do, during which they showed a half-second of Rush Limbaugh on ESPN Countdown.

Limbaugh didn't criticize McNabb... he criticized the media falling all over themselves to praise a mediocre QB just because he's black. And he was RIGHT!
