DENTON NT EXES PLAN GAMEDAY EVENTS FOR SEPT.22 FOOTBALL GAME

The Denton Chapter of the North Texas Exes has planned two events for the upcoming home football game on September 22 vs. Florida Atlantic. The Exes will have a table in the Mean Green Village in the afternoon prior to the football kickoff and will sell the popular "SINK NAVY" t-shirts. Proceeds of the sales will go to UNT student scholarships.

Immediately after the game, the Exes will host a post game party called the "FIFTH QUARTER.", which will be held at the Exes Center on campus. This is an opportunity for fans to 'decompress' after the game and have refreshments and a light snack while the traffic is clearing out of the stadium The Fifth Quarter is open to Exes members and their guests.

There will be no "events" at the Exes Center before the game, but I understand that it will be open. The Exes will have a tent in the Pre-Game tailgate area...stop by the tent and buy your Sink Navy T-shirt and other "stuff"...and, if you have not as yet...and why not...joined the Exes, you can sign up during the tailgate event. The Denton Chapter is sponsoring the 5th Quarter after-game event so folks can come by the Exes Center, have some frefreshments, talk about UNT's WIN and let the traffic get out of the way. Lots of pre-game stuff going on at the Tailgate area, but the thought is to see how folks might like a little 5th quarter to keep the spirit going a bit fater the game...We'll see...should be fun and I know several of the Denton Exes are doing a bit of work to try to help folks enjoy this event. Stop by and see....this is the first 5th Quarter event, but it is one of several events the Denton Chapter has sponsored and is sponsoring this year. Lots of great stuff going on with the Denton Chapter of the Exes...join up...volunteer your time to help...and HAVE SOME GREAT TIMES WITH THE MEAN GREEN NATION'S EXES MEMBERS!
